Gambling

All three gambling games are accessed with /gamble. Each requires an amount argument specifying how many coins to bet. You cannot bet more than your current balance.

/gamble coinflip amount:100

A 50/50 bet. Heads: you win 2x your bet. Tails: you lose your bet. The expected return is 1.0x per bet (break-even in the long run), but any individual flip is a coin flip.

/gamble slots amount:100

Three reels spin independently. If all three land on the same symbol, you win based on the paytable:

SymbolsPayout
🍒 🍒 🍒4x
🍋 🍋 🍋8x
🍊 🍊 🍊20x
💎 💎 💎50x
7️⃣ 7️⃣ 7️⃣200x

If the reels do not match, you lose your bet. Rare symbols have a lower chance of appearing on each reel, which is why high-multiplier wins are uncommon.

/gamble roll amount:100

Rolls a number from 1 to 100.

  • Over 50: you win 2x your bet.
  • Under 50: you lose your bet.
  • Exactly 50: your bet is returned (push).

Roll is functionally similar to coinflip but has the push mechanic on exactly 50.

/gamble duel user:@rival amount:500 puts your coins where your mouth is: challenge another player to a coinflip for a stake. They have 60 seconds to accept or decline. On accept the coin decides, and the loser pays the stake straight to the winner. Nothing is taken from either player until the moment the duel settles, so a declined or expired challenge costs nothing.
