Announcement Channels

Mollybot can post announcements in your server when players level up or unlock achievements. These go to dedicated channels that you configure with /settings.

Setting the level-up channel

Section titled “Setting the level-up channel”
/settings levelup-channel channel:#your-channel

Replace #your-channel with the channel where you want level-up announcements posted. This command requires Manage Server permission and the response is only visible to you.

Setting the achievement channel

Section titled “Setting the achievement channel”
/settings achievement-channel channel:#your-channel

Sets the channel for achievement unlock announcements. If you do not set this, achievement announcements fall back to the level-up channel. If neither is set, no announcements are posted.

Viewing current settings

Section titled “Viewing current settings”
/settings view

Shows the currently configured channels for your server. Channels that have not been set are shown as “not set”.

Section titled “Recommended setup”

Create a dedicated #mollybot-announcements channel (or separate #level-ups and #achievements channels) and set them with the commands above. This keeps bot announcements out of general chat.
